ParentLink Acquired By Blackboard
Provo, Utah-based ParentLink, which develops K-12 communications tools to help connect teachers with parents, has been acquired by education software giant Blackboard. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Blackboard said the move will help it increase its K focus. The company said ParentLink currently provides its services to more than eight thousand schools. ParentLink was founded and is headed by John Graff; the company's parent firm is Parlant Technology. Parlant was advised by Vista Point Advisors in the deal.
