Revolv Acquired By Nest
Boulder-based Revolv said today that it has been acquired by smart device maker Nest. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Revolv said it will continue to offer up its service to current customers, but will not make the service available to new customers. Revolv was a developer of a smart home hub, which helps consumers manage their smart home and automation equipment. Revolv was venture backed by The Foundry Group and American Family Insurance, and was led by Tim Enwall. The company had only raised around $4M in funding. Nest is owned by Google.
