Galvanize Launches Accredited Degree Program
Denver-based Galvanize, the programming education and coworking space operator, said this week that it has launched a new, accredited degree program out of its San Francisco location, which will provide a Master's of Engineering in Big Data to students. The company said the fully accredited master's degree program is an accelerated one-year program requiring students to complete 30 credits hours covering statistics, machine learning, computer science, practical coding abilities and real-world projects with industry partners. The company is offering up the degree in conjunction with the University of New Haven. The course is its first out of a new effort called GalvanizeU
