TaskEasy Gets $7M For Home Services Marketplace
Salt Lake City-based TaskEasy, a startup which operates an online, on-demand marketplace for things like lawn moving, snow clearing, and holiday light installation, said today that it has raised $7 in a Series A funding. The funding came from Grotech Ventures, Access Ventures, Kickstart Seed Fund, along with Colony American Homes, Flying J, Berman Enterprises, as well as former ServiceMagic co-CEO and Founder Michael Beaudoin. The startup said it will use the funding to expand its service and expansion. Beadoin joins the company's board with the funding. TaskEasy is led by Ken Davis, and says it now has 49 employees and performance services in 1,630 U.S. cities.
