CoreSite Connects With XO Communications
Denver-based data center operator CoreSite said this morning that it has connected with XO Communications, on both the East and West coast. The two said that XO has connected into the CoreSite Open Cloud Exchange, the company's effort to provide dedicated links to cloud service providers. Those direct connections help its customers bypass Internet congestion and latency with direct links into its data centers from specific cloud and network services. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
