Pelion Ventures Gets Exit At Metacloud
Salt Lake City-based venture capital investor Pelion Ventures has gotten an early exit at one of its portfolio companies, OpenStack cloud operator Metacloud. Technology giant Cisco announced today that it is acquiring Metacloud, in a bid to bolster its cloud infrastructure efforts. Metacloud operates private cloud infrastructure for enterprises and other large organizations. Pelion had first invested in Metacloud in May. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced.
