Level 3, tw telecom Get DOJ Nod On Acquisition
Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications and tw telecom said last night that the U.S. Department of Justic has cleared Level 3's pending acquisition of tw telecom. The two had announced the $7.3 billion deal back in June. The move clears the way for the completion of the acquisition deal, which was subject to Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust review.
