Avnet Nominates New Board Member
Phoenix-based technology distributor Avnet announced this morning that it has nominated Avid Modjtabai, senior executive vice president of Wells Fargo & Company, to its board of directors. Modjtabai is head of Wells Fargo's Consumer Lending Group, and also has served at McKinsey & Company. Avnet said that she will stand for election at its annual shareholder meeting in November.
