Denver-based Intermap, which provides mapping and geospatial data and software, said today that it has scored a $1.8M win in the US. The company said the contract is for an airborne radar mapping services solution, where the company will use its Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (IFSAR) technology to collect radar imagery and high resolution, elevation data for the un-named customer. The work is expected to be "substantially complete" by the end of the third quarter. The company did not say where the data is being collected from.
