Ulthera, Merz Finalize Acquisition Deal
Mesa, Arizona-based Ulthera, which makes aesthetic medicine medical devices for face and neck lifts, is now part of Merz, after regulatory approvals by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice, the companies said Tuesday. The deal--which is worth up to $600M--was announced on June 27th. Ulthera was venture backed by New Enterprise Associates, Apposite Healthcare, and others.
