Vivint Taps Former FAA CISO For Security Chief
Provo, Utah-based Vivint, which provides home automation services, said today that it has tapped the former Chief Information Security Officer from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as its new Chief Security Officer. The company said that Joe Albaugh, who was most recently Chief Information Security Officer for the U.S. Department of Transportation, and prior to that, Chief Information Security Officer for the FAA, to head up its security strategy efforts at the company. Albaugh also has stints at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and BearingPoint.
