Boise, Idaho-based startup
BookLamp, has quietly been acquired by
Apple Computer, according to
reports over the weekend. BookLamp was developing algorithms which were being used to categorize books based on their content, to help provide recommendations to book readers on what books they might like to read. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. The deal is reportedly worth between $10M and $15M.
