MapQuest Jumps On Amazon Fire Phone Bandwagon
Denver-based mapping and navigation site and app provider MapQuest said today that it has launched an enhanced, Amazon Fire Phone app, which takes advantage of a number of custom features of Amazon.com's new smartphone. Amazon launched its phone on AT&T today, although it had announced the Amazon Fire phone earlier this year. MapQuest said its new, free app includes support for tilt-activated menus, layer bars, and panels, as well as other features specifically designed for Amazon's new smartphone. The new app is available on the Amazon Appstore.
