Galvanize Raises $18M To Expand Nationwide
Denver-based Galvanize, the startup coworking space operator, is taking its model beyond Denver, and plans a big expansion across the U.S. To do that, Galvanize said this morning that it has raised $18M in a Series A funding, which came from University Ventures Fund. galvanize--which already has expanded to San Francisco and Boulder--said it plans to open new campuses across the U.S. The company already is working on additional campuses in Denver and Fort Collins. Galvanize said it has more than 150 startups and member companies using its services nationwide. The company also plans to expand its gSchool classroom and meeting space effort, and will also launch several new education programs this fall. Galvanize is led by Jim Deters.
