Boulder Ventures Backs HackSurfer
Colorado-based venture capital investor Boulder Ventures has made an investment in cybersecurity firm HackSurfer, helping to lead a $3.5M funding round for that company. According to HackSUrfer, it raised the $3.5M funding from lead investors Boulder Ventures and CNF Investments, to help build out its cloud-based, cyber risk intelligence information products. HackSurfer, which is based in Maryland, says its products help companies figure out what threats are likely to target its networks, if it has enough resources allocated to mitigate threats, and figure out other similar questions.
