EnergySolutions Arena Gets New Communications Provider
Fans at Utah's EnergySolutions Arena--the home of the Utah Jazz--will have a new communications provider, after a deal puts a new wireless provider, Boingo Wireless, in charge of the arena's small cell and data connectivity. Financial details of the deal were not announced by Boingo or Miller Sports Properties, which manages EnergySolutions Arena, but the companies said that Boingo will launch what a distributed antenna system and small cell network in the venue before the next Utah Jazz basketball season. Miller Sports Properties said the new provider will help provide even faster service throughout the arena, which holds more than 100 sports and entertainment events each year.
