Orbotix Launches Promo Discount For Sphero 2.0
It looks like Boulder-based robot developer Orbotix is looking to spur some sales for its new version of its programmable, robotic ball, the Sphero 2.0, saying in an email to users today that it is offering up the new device for $99, a discount of $30.00 from the normal price of the device. Sphero said the offer is good just for this week, which happens to be National Robotics Week. Orbotix started rolling out Sphero 2.0 last September. Orbotix is venture backed by Foundry Group and Highway 12 Ventures.
