GoSpotCheck Gets $100K From AOL Founder
Denver-based GoSpotCheck, the Denver startup founded by Matt Talbot and Samantha Holloway, is one of ten companies who have all received $100,000 each for participating in the Google for Entrepreneurs Demo Day in Silicon Valley last week. GoSpotCheck had been selected as one of ten startups to pitch their companies to investors in the Demo Day. The $100,000 funding came from Steve Case, who is co-founder of AOL and now heads up an investment company called Revolution. GoSpotCheck develops mobile and web apps to help businesses collect and analyze information on their retail locations.
