Boulder-based Zayo Group said this morning that its colocation division, zColo, has acquired a Dallas, Texas data center operator called CoreXchange. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Zayo Group said the deal will add 18,000 square feet of data center space to its portfolio, and bolster its data center count to a total of 27 locations. Zayo Group already has operations in Dallas. Zayo said the move will provide its customers with more alternatives for colocation in the Dallas market--as well as another option to connect into its fiber network.
