Wayin Names Chief Revenue Officer
Denver-based Wayin, the social media software developer founded by Sun Microsystems' Scott McNealy, said today that it has named Julie Greenhouse as Chief Revenue Officer at the company. Greenhouse was most recently SVP of Sales at ShareThis, and also has served at AOL, Time Warner, Yahoo! Search Marketing, Disney Online, Deja.com and GeoCities. ShareThis, which is backed by U.S. Venture Partners, TIBCO Software, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, and others, offers up its social tools to brands, sports teams, TV networks and advertising agencies. The company said Greenhouse will lead sales and business development for the company, and also help expand its sales team in the US and new markets around the world.
