Flywheel Ups Flywheel II Funding
New Mexico-based Flywheel Ventures has added a little bit more to its Flywheel II venture capital fund, according to a regulatory filing from the firm this week. According to the filing, the fund is now up to $8.74M in funding from 59 investors--part of a fundraising the group has been working through since 2009. Flywheel has been an investor in such companies as MicroProbe, Filtrbox, Trackvia, CoMeT Solutions, and Groople. Flywheel has been fairly quiet as it has run towards the end of its first fund, Flywheel I.
