VacationRoost Buys Two Online Vacation Rental Companies
Salt Lake City-based VacationRoost, which provides an online marketplace for vacation rental properties, has acquired two online vacation rental sites. VacationRoost said it has acquired Hawaiian Beach Rentals and Vacation Rental Agent, both of which help market vacation homes and rentals. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. VacationRoost's CEO, Julian Castelli, said the deal would provided expanded distribution and marketing tools plus access to the Hawaiian market. Hawaiian BEach Rentals offers up more than 5,000 vacation homes throughout Hawaii. VacationRoost is backed by private equity firm Kinderhook Industries.
