Scottsdale-based domain name registrar and Internet services provider GoDaddy said Tuesday that it is expanding in Silicon Valley, and is preparing to open up a brand new Bay Area office in Sunnyvale, California. According to Godaddy, the new facility will have 40,000 square foot of space, and will be used to build out its product and technology teams. GoDaddy has been in expansion mode; most recently, in May, it announced a new technology center at ASU Research Park, which will employ at least 300.
