Gnip, the provider of social data APIs and streams, has set a new CEO, the firm said today. Gnip said it has named Chris Moody, the firm's COo and President, as CEO. Moody
joined Gnip two years ago. Jud Valeski, Gnip's current CEO, has become CTO of the company. Gnip said it now has seventy employees and is currently growing. Moody was previously founder and President of Aquent On Demand. Gnip's services are used by companies to parse through and digest all kinds of social media data, including posts on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and many other services.
