Needle Snags Amazon GM As President, COO
Salt LAke City-based Needle, the developer of e-commerce software backed by Shasta Ventures and Rembrandt Venture Partners, has snagged an Amazon veteran for its new President and COO, the firm said today. Needle said it named Scott Pulsipher, who was formerly GM of Amazon Webstore, to the position. Pulsipher served as general manager of Amazon's Webstore sicne 2009, and also has served as an executive at Sterling Commerce (Acquired by IBM) and Yantra (Acquired by Sterling). Needle's e-commerce platform provies live chat assistance from product owners and fans.
