Avnet Takes On Big Data
Tempe, Arizona-based IT solutions provider Avnet Technology Solutions, is taking on the bid data market. The company said it has created a new practice, specifically aimed at "big data" and analytics solutions. The new Avnet Practice+ for Analytics will provide go-to-market and enablement services, specifically aimed at big-data IT initiatives. The program is rolling out for Avnet's HP solution provider partners in the U.S. and Canada.
