TechStars London Hands Out Immigration Visas
Are you an entrepreneur, looking to move to London? If so, it just got easier--if you apply and are accepted to TechStars London, the UK-based program being run by Boulder, Colorado-based startup accelerator TechStars. According to the group, entrepreneurs who are accepted to the program now qualify for the UK's Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) Visa, allowing teams from outside the EU to work in the UK for up to 3 years, with the option of applying to extend their stay another 2 years. The visa also lets entrepreneurs apply for permission to settle in the UK--with their partners and children--if they create at least 10, new full time jobs in the country.
