Scottsdale, Arizona-based Go Daddy announced Tuesday that it has opened up a new office, in Seattle, Washington. Go Daddy said it has already hired a number of new employees--including veterans from Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, AT&T, Yahoo, and others in the Seattle area. Go Daddy looks to be trying to tap into the wealth of talent in the Seattle area, which has such employers as Microsoft and Amazon.com, and which has attracted a significant number of satellite offices for big tech firms. GoDaddy is backed by KKR, Silver Lake Partners and Technology Crossover Ventures.
