Monnit Launches New Wi-Fi Sensors
Salt Lake City-based Monnit, the developer of wireless sensors which is headed by Brad Walters, has debuted a new product line, the firm said this week. The firm said its new MoWi line of Wi-Fi sensors provide 802.11b/g connectivity, allowing users to remotely monitor their business operations using their existing Wi-Fi networks. Monnit's sensors include everything from temperature and humidity sensing, to motion detection, door and windows monotiros, and more. The sensors start at $149. Monnit is venture backed by EarlyRun Ventures.
