Goodbye BlogFrog, Hello TapInfluence

Boulder-based BlogFrog, the developer of online, influence marketing software, is no more--saying today that it has relaunched itself as TapInfluence, with a new, cloud-based software product for influencer marketing. The firm said it has relaunched its platform to help marketers automate and scale their influencer marketing efforts, including a way to distribute content across various social networks and measure the effectiveness of those efforts.

TapInfluence, which is headed by Rustin Banks, is venture backed by such firms as Grotech Ventures, TechStars' David Cohen, and others. The firm has been around since 2009, and has now raised $4.1M in total funding. The firm's software revolves around engaging social media users around brands, automating the process for brand marketers.
