CrimeReports Increases Coverage, Says 30 Percent Of US Covered
Salt Lake City-based Public Engines, the operator of the online crime mapping service CrimeReports, says that it now has more than 30 percent of the U.S. population covered by its service. The company said it has now passed more than 80 million crimes mapped across the United States. Public Engines provides its systems to local law enforcement and other public safety agencies, to help those agencies publish local crime data. CrimeReports says it now has over 1,000 law enforcement agencies using its products across North America.
