Google Buys Channel Intelligence

Channel Intelligence, a developer of software and services to help companies list their products in Google Shopping and other online shopping engines--and which has an office in Phoenix--has been acquired by Google. The deal was worth $125M, according to Channel Intelligence investor ICG Group.

Channel Intelligence provides software to link online browsers of product information to local and online stores; helps populate products in online shopping engines; and also offers other, related services revolving around connecting consumers with products. The firm was based in Florida, with an office in Arizona.
