InsideSales.com Gets $35M
In the second, major funding round for a Utah startup today, Provo, Utah-based InsideSales.com said that it has raised $35M in a Series B funding round, which was led by U.S. Venture Partners and which also included Hummer Winblad Venture Partners. InsideSales, which develops cloud-based, sales automation and predictive analytics software, said the funding will go towards continued growth at the company. The firm, headed by David Elkington, serves such clients as Cisco, Dell, Eloqua, Gannett, Groupon, NEC, Marketo, and Seagate. The firm said the funding will help it with "hypergrowth"--with a growth of over 100 percent in sales in the last year, plus an increase of over 120 percent in terms of employee count. Dafina Toncheva of USVP joins the company's board with the funding.
