SendGrid Expands To Windows Azure, StackMob, Parse
Boulder-based SendGrid, the provider of transactional email APIs and services headed by Jim Franklin, said today that it has integrated its service with a number of mobile backends. Those integrations include Windows Azure Mobile Services, StackMob and Parse, all of which enable mobile email applications. SendGrid says it is already powering mobile transactional email for applications such as Uber, Pinterest, foursquare and Spotify. SendGrid, which is backed by Foundry Group, Highway 12 Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and others, develops tools which make it easy for developers to add and deal with transactional emails, making sure those emails get delivered to users.
