Cerapedics Lands $19M Funding Round
Westminster, Colorado-based Cerapedics, a developer of peptide-enhanced bone graft products for cervical spine applications, said today that it has raised $19M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by MedImmune Ventures and CVF LLC, an affiliate of Henry Crown and Company. The round also included prior investors OrbiMed Advisors and NGN Capital. The company said the funds will go towards its ongoing activities in preparation for clinical trials. Sam Wu of MedImmune joins the company's board with the funding.
