Level 3 Wins Children's Health Group
Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications said earlier this week that it has scored a win with the Nemours Foundation, a Jacksonville Florida-based operator of children's health facilities. Nemours owns the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del., the Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida, along with a network of pediatric specialty clinics in Delaware, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Financial details of the win were not announced. Level 3 said Nemours is using the firm's network services to support an electronic medical records system.
