Pan Am Education Acquired By Pivotal Group
Chandler, Arizona-based Pan Am Education, a provider of online ducation services, has been acquired by Phoenix private equity firm Pivotal Group. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. Pivotal said it acquired the assets of Pan Am Education, and will expand the business internationally. Pan Am Education provides online educational services, letting students in China, Korea, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey and the U.S. access contract teachers via the internet; those US certified teachers are made available via the internet to education programs anywhere in the world, with a focus on such areas as English usage, test preparation, and more.
