C7 Launches New Virtual Colocation Service, FuseApp
Salt Lake City-based hosting provider C7 Data Centers announced this morning that it has launched a new service, FuseApp, which will provide virtual colocation and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) to small and mid-sized businesses. The firm said the service will allow companies to manage IT infrastructure within data outsourcing facilities operated by C7, allowing companies to create their own cloud servers and virtual appliances. The company said its new service will "feel like your own IT environment" and let customers manage their own virtual environment. The new service lets users create and connect their own set of virtual servers and environment without requiring intervention by their ISP. Pricing on the new service was not announced.
