Inspire Commerce Takes $500K For Online Payments
A new startup, Inspire Commerce, based in Boulder, is looking to take on online payments today, saying it has raised $500,000 in a seed funding round. The company says it is developing "universal financial transaction technology" which helps users collect payments online. The funding came from Axia, The Story Stock Exchange venture fund, as well as angels. Axia is a merchant services provider. Inspire Commerce runs InspirePay, an online service that allows users to collect payments from anyone.
