Pixorial Adds Soundtrack Tools To Video Platform
Users who want to create their own, online videos using Pixorial, the developer of the online video editing and creation platform, can now pull from a large catalog of copyright-cleared soundtracks, thanks to a deal the Englewood, Colorado firm made earlier this week. Pixorial said it has tapped Rumblefish, a provider of a licensed music catalog, to enable consumers to find music to use in their videos created with Pixorial. Pixorial's site lets users upload and edit their videos online, and share them with others. Rumblefish offers up music search and recommendation tools. The deal between the two firms includes such features as helping users pick music by mood, with the added benefit of full legal rights to those tracks in their videos.
