Ubooly (smartphone connected toys);
Roximextry (location-based deals for your auto);
Digital Ocean (cloud hosting);
Birdbox (photo and video organization); and
PivotDesk (office sharing marketplace). The next step for the startups, in most cases, is convincing venture or other investors to back their continued growth. TechStars' graduates have been among the most successful, venture backed companies in the region, and have dominated venture funding and investment activity in the region in the last few years.
