Salt Lake City-based HireVue, the developer of online and video interviewing tools headed by David Bradford, has just bolstered its technology today, buying San Francisco-based CodeEval. HireVue, which did not disclosed financial details of the deal, said it will integrate CodeEval's web-based solutions for helping to identify and evluate technical talent. CodeEval's software allows employers to present programming and coding challenges to potential employees, to help non-technical hiring managers and recruiters to review and evaluate their programming responses. CodeEval was part of the incubator program at i/o Ventures.
