Auction Genius, a Longmont, Colorado developer of software used for auto dealer auctions, has been acquired by Illinois-based vAuto, vAuto said today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. vAuto is a developer of inventory management systems for used vehicle dealers. Auction Genius develops software which is used by automobile dealers to evaluate and place bids to acquire used vehicles in wholesale auctions. vAuto said Auction Genius will continue to operate from its Longmont offices.
