Spatial Energy Ties With Blue Marble
Boulder-based Spatial Energy, a provider of satellite imagery for the oil and gas market, and Blue Marble Geographics, a developer of mapping software, said today that the two are in an alliance. The two said that Spatial Energy's imagery content will be freely available via Blue Marble's Global Energy Mapper software application. Financial details of the alliance were not disclosed. Global Eneryg Mapper's software is specifically aimed at customers in the oil, gas, and mining industry. Spatial offers up its data via subscription. In addition to the free data, the two said customers will have the ability to purchase premium imagery products from within Blue Marble's software.
