Arizona Investor Buys CallSource Division, Moves Firm To Scottsdale
An Arizona entrepreneur and investor, Mike Mueller, has acquired a division of a California-based firm, and plans to move the company's operations to Scottsdale. According to Mueller--who is best known for founding AllApartments.com, which later merged with Realtor.com and went public as Homestore.com--he has acquired CallSource Inc.'s multifamily vertical, and will relocate the operations to Arizona, creating around 40 jobs in the area. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. CallSource's multifamily vertical offers up technology for apartment owners, helping them to handle leads and track telephone calls and marketing. Mueller has been an investor in RealPage, LeasingDesk, MyNewPlace and VaultWare.
