OneRiot Acquired By Walmart
Boulder-based OneRiot, the social media targeting and advertisement network, has been acquired by Walmart, the firms said late Tuesday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Walmart, OneRiot becomes part of its WalmartLabs technology development effort, and will be moving to Silicon Valley. Walmart said the deal was to acquire the "key assets" of OneRiot. OneRiot was headed by Kimbal Musk, and was venture backed by Appian Ventures, Commonwealth Capital, and Spark Capital. The firm had raised around $27.27M in funding.
