zayo said today that it has started constructing a new fiber network in Los Angeles, to support data center connectivity for CoreSite Realty Corporation. Zayo said that the new fiber ring will support CoreSite's Southern California data centers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Zayo explained that the new Los Angeles fiber network will complement its existing, western network in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Boise, Spokane, and Denver.
