TechStars Launches Startup Bracket Competition
In a twist on the upcoming March Madness basketball season, Boulder-based business mentoring group TechStars announced this morning that it has launched a new, Startup Madness bracket competition. The group said the competition will pit 64 startups against each other--based on popular vote--to win over $25,000 in prizes, including hosting services, advertising, and an invite to TechStars For a Day, the group's annual meet and greet for prospective TechStars startups. According to TechStars, the competition is open to non-TechStars companies that have not raised over $250,000, have revenues below $250,000, and have a live demo or product, in the internet, software, or high-tech areas.
