Ancestry.com Launches iPad App
Provo, Utah-based Ancestry.com, which provides online family history information, said today that it has launched a new, iPad application. The firm said that its new application, called Ancestry, allows users to view family trees, family records, and photos, and was specifically built for a tablet experience. The new app also allows for editing and addition of information. The new application is free. Ancestry.com already offers up an iPhone version of the application, which also runs on the iPod Touch.
