Mesa Labs Buys Apex Laboratories Unit
Lakewood, Colorado-based Mesa Labs said this week that it has acquired a unit of Apex Laboratories, a North Carolina-based supplier of biological indicators for hydrogen peroxide vapor systems. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to the firms, Apex is selling to Mesa Labs the assets associated with Apex's hydrogen peroxide BI products and services. As part of the acquisition, Mesa said the business will be relocated to its new SGM Biotech division located in Bozeman, Montana.
